I thought Woodthorpe was a big test in pre-season and gave a brilliant account of themselves and I wish them nothing but the best for them, and no doubt a successful upcoming season.

Overall 7 goals and 7 different scorers which was pleasing. It was notable that George Harrison after mainly being injured for pre-season got a good 25/30 minutes on the pitch and got on the scoresheet on his return.

We have managed to get all of the squad minutes albeit at various availability through pre-season which has presented challenges but the style and consistent understanding has been pleasing as we head to our final game of pre-season against Blidworth on Saturday.
